Gig thumbnails for a data-services freelancer
Eleven 1280×800 marketplace gig thumbnails for a freelancer selling web research, data entry, spreadsheet visualization and file conversion: heavy condensed headlines on purple, navy and green gradients, a smiling presenter, feature badges and an Order Now button.
The problem
Gig thumbnails are judged at a small size next to competitors, so each service had to read instantly and the whole set had to look like one seller.
Our approach
- 01Put the service name in large condensed capitals on the left and the presenter on the right in every card.
- 02Added small proof badges (high quality, fast delivery, 24/7 support) and a pink Order Now button as the shared footer.
- 03Varied the background gradient and the supporting graphic (spreadsheet, file icons, document preview) per service.
The results
Eleven 1280×800 thumbnails across web research, data entry, data visualization, file conversion and document clean-up.
