What an e-commerce creative pack includes

A system first, then the pieces — so the hundredth banner is as consistent as the first and twice as fast to make.

In depth

01

Why e-commerce creative breaks at volume

Retail never stops. There are new arrivals, partner launches, seasonal sales, flash sales and the everyday product posts in between, and each one needs a banner for the site, posts for the feed and a story or two. Designed one at a time, those pieces drift: a different headline style here, a new button there, until the store’s own feed looks like several companies.

The fix is to design the system before the pieces. We decide once where the headline, the products, the discount badge, the button and the logo sit, how the type pairs, and how backgrounds vary. After that, a new promotion is mostly product selection and staging — faster to produce, and consistent without anyone policing it.

02

How the BabyStore system works

The display banners all use one layout: an “Upto 50% off” headline, a hand-drawn arrow pointing to the products, a yellow Shop Now button and the babystore logo, on soft pink, peach, lilac or gray grounds. Products are grouped by use — travel, sleep, feeding, ride-ons, outdoor play — so each banner tells one small story instead of listing the catalog.

The social feed keeps the logo at the top and a small Shop Now or Buy Now button at the bottom of every post. Its recurring signature is a clean capitals headline paired with a handwritten script line — “Stroll with Ease”, “Ride with Fun” — while the backgrounds change per product, from pastel washes to room sets and outdoor scenes, so consecutive posts never look the same.

Partner promotions — Kidzroom, Maby, Mima, Bentgo, Eitech, Chicco, Teknum — run across four slot sizes, each re-composed rather than cropped, with discount badges kept large enough to read in a 600×140 mobile strip. The Monster Jam and hauck promotions follow the same rule from a 3840×800 hero strip down to a square post.

03

Beyond a single store

Product brands need the same discipline at a smaller scale. For Glitify’s tough phone cases, each printed with a 3D zodiac character, we made a 3000×3000 lifestyle mockup, a 1080×1080 social post, a 4500×3000 flat-lay of gold and silver cases and a 601×360 web banner, all carrying one message: “Protect your phone in custom style with this tough phone case.”

Marketplace sellers are judged at thumbnail size, next to competitors. The gig thumbnails for a data-services freelancer put the service name in large condensed capitals on the left and the presenter on the right of every 1280×800 card, with the same proof badges and Order Now button along the bottom — so the whole storefront reads as one seller.

04

Sizes worth planning before the first sale

Most of the cost of e-commerce creative is in the number of sizes, so it pays to list them before design starts. Your store theme decides its hero and promo-bar sizes; check them in the theme settings or send us the store link and we will measure.

  • Store: hero banner, mid-page promo and the mobile version of each.
  • Social: 1080×1080 posts, 1080×1350 portrait posts and 1080×1920 stories.
  • Ads and link previews: 1200×628 is the common landscape size.
  • Marketplaces: each one publishes its own image rules — follow them exactly.

Process

How a creative pack is produced

  1. Step 01

    Calendar

We list the promotions ahead and every slot they run in: site banners, feed, stories and marketplaces.

  2. Step 02

    System

Layout rules, type pairing, badges and buttons, set once on two or three hero pieces.

  3. Step 03

    Batches

Pieces produced in batches per promotion, with every size composed from the start.

  4. Step 04

    Review in place

You review designs mocked up in their real slots, not as a folder of loose files.

  5. Step 05

    Files and sources

Final files named by size and promotion, plus editable sources your team can extend.

FAQ

E-commerce creative questions

What sizes do we need for an e-commerce campaign?

Start with your own store’s slots — hero, mid banner and mobile strip — then the social formats: 1080×1080 posts and 1080×1920 stories, plus 1200×628 for link previews and many ad placements. We list them with you on the first call and design each one.

Can you follow our partner brands’ guidelines?

Yes. In the BabyStore work, partner brands such as Kidzroom, Mima and Eitech each kept their own look inside the store’s layout. Send the brand kits and we work within them.

Do you cut out and retouch product photos?

Yes — clean cut-outs with soft shadows are part of the job, as on every BabyStore banner. Send the best photos you have, and we will tell you early if a shot is too small or soft to use.

How quickly can you turn around a sale campaign?

Campaign design typically takes 1–3 weeks per campaign. With a fixed sale date, say so on the call and we will tell you straight away whether the date is realistic.

Can our team edit the designs later?

Yes. You get editable source files with text and products on separate layers, so your team can swap a price or a product without starting over.

Do you also build the online store?

Yes. Our founder built BabyStore.ae on Shopify, and we build stores on Shopify, WordPress and Next.js. Store builds are scoped as web design and development, from $6,000.
