WooCommerce store and quote desk for Medical Trade Hub, Dubai
The online shop and quote desk for Medical Trade Hub, a Dubai supplier of medical equipment and consumables: a WooCommerce catalog under eight department menus plus Offers, with a request-for-quote list beside the cart for clinics and hospitals that buy in bulk.
The problem
Medical Trade Hub sells to two kinds of buyer: a home-care customer who wants a thermometer now, and a clinic or hospital that needs a price on a long list. The site had to serve both, across a catalog that runs from gloves and IV sets to patient monitors and dental instruments.
Our approach
- 01Built on WordPress and WooCommerce with a custom homepage: a notice bar for supply updates, a contact strip with phone, WhatsApp and order tracking, and a trust row for genuine products, UAE delivery, quotes and service.
- 02Organized the catalog under eight department menus plus Offers, with mega menus such as Medical Devices & Equipment grouping patient monitors, diagnostics, ultrasound, lab equipment and medical refrigeration.
- 03Added a request-for-quote list (RFQ) next to the cart, so bulk buyers can collect items and ask for institutional pricing, and showed Request Price on items sold by quote.
- 04Built category pages with brand and price filters, grid options and sorting, and product pages with VAT-inclusive dirham prices, a trust panel, product comparison and live chat.
The results
A live store at medicaltradehub.com that takes both online orders and quote requests, with the Dental department alone carrying 1,299 products.
