Nationwide traffic plans site for Safety Network Traffic Plans
A WordPress site for Safety Network Traffic Plans, the traffic control plans company of Safety Network Inc., based in Fresno, California. It offers custom plans in all 50 states through a clickable US map and a page for every state, with a proposal form and file upload at the foot of each page.
The problem
A contractor or agency that needs a traffic control plan wants to know two things: will this team work in my state, and will the plan meet my state’s rules. The site had to answer both from the first screen, then make it easy to send project files with a request.
Our approach
- 01Built in WordPress with Elementor in orange, slate and white around the diamond work zone sign logo, with a sticky header that keeps the six-item menu and the Request Proposal button in view.
- 02Put coverage at the center: the homepage map of the United States highlights a state on hover and opens its page on click, and the state pages list that state’s department of transportation, its 811 dig-safe service and its MUTCD links. The California page adds all 12 Caltrans districts with their counties and phone numbers.
- 03Ended every page with the same proposal form (name, reason, phone, email, a file upload and a message, behind reCAPTCHA), and gave the contact page a second form plus all five Safety Network branches with phone, email and hours.
- 04Explained the offer in the buyer’s terms: four services (traffic control plans, compliance support, work zone setup and equipment rentals), the industries served (construction, utilities, municipal work and events), and a blog on plan revisions, submittal checklists and Caltrans approval.
The results
A live site at safetynetworkplans.com with 50 state pages, a clickable US map, 27 blog posts and a proposal form with file upload on every page.
