Three-division traffic control website for Safety Network, Inc.
A WordPress site for Safety Network, Inc., a traffic control company with five California branches. It covers work zone management, traffic control plans, equipment and attenuator truck rentals, and puts the company’s plans and signs divisions in the same header, each with its own logo, menu and quote form.
The problem
Contractors, utilities and public agencies come to Safety Network for different jobs: a crew to run a lane closure, a stamped traffic plan, a rental of cones and arrow boards, or new signs. The site had to send each of them to the right division and branch, and make a proposal request the obvious next step on every page.
Our approach
- 01Built the site in WordPress with Elementor Pro and Gravity Forms, in black, white and safety orange, with the phone number and a Request a Proposal button in a bar above every page.
- 02Gave all three divisions a place in the header: the Safety Network logo sits beside the Traffic Plans and Traffic Signs logos, and each division’s pages move its own logo to the center with a menu of its own (and a green theme for signs). On a first visit, a full-screen panel on the homepage lets the visitor pick traffic control, plans or signs.
- 03Routed each enquiry at the form: the main proposal form asks for the reason (traffic control services, plans, signs or truck attenuators) and the branch (Fresno, Bakersfield, Modesto, Visalia or Orange County), the plans form accepts file uploads, and the signs form asks whether the job is sign design, manufacturing, rentals, inventory management or recycling.
- 04Spelled out what can be rented and where: 16 rental device types on the homepage, from cones and drums to AFADs, water-filled K-rails and speed radar trailers, pages for attenuator trucks, safety equipment and construction supplies, a locations page with hours and a map for each branch, California county pages, a careers page and a traffic control blog.
The results
A live site at safetynetworkinc.com with 131 pages in its sitemap, including California county pages and five branch listings, and 72 blog posts.
